Bryan Langford is running his very first marathon, the Hayden Marathon, on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He really wanted to do it for a reason...for a great cause. It takes a lot of effort to accomplish something this big, and for him, his motivation has been self healing. Losing Conner was the hardest thing we've ever had to do. Running helps clear his head and it gives him time to think of Conner and remember the great times.
Another passion of Bryan's is Parker's Place camp. It saved our family after Conner died. We were close to losing everything, but because of Parker's Place camp, a camp for families who have lost children, we found new hope and strength to keep trying. Bryan would like to have people sponsor him to run this race and raise much needed money for Parker's Place 2015.
Since we are unable to really put into words how much Parker's Place truly means to our family, we decided the best way to go about it is to just show you. This is Parker's Place...a place where smiles and healing begin.
